Deep Water Port
Suriname, South America.

Suriname Port Management Company/ N.V. Havenbeheer Suriname and Phoenix Development Company have partnered for the development of a Deep-Water Port and Special Economic Zone in Nickerie, Suriname.

Located in the center of the Suriname-Guyana Basin, ideal to service all Atlantic-Markets, we have allocated an initial 1500 Hectares (3707 Acres) for the sustainable development and accommodation of world-class facilities to stimulate all trade, agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism industries in Suriname, as well as, Suriname’s burgeoning off-shore Oil & Gas industry.

We are a platform for all national and international companies to deliver their goods and services to the near-shore and off-shore industries in the region.

Ideally located to service all Atlantic Markets with zero chokepoints or bottlenecks, Suriname will become a regional hub for goods, services, and products.

Phoenix has contracted the Port of Rotterdam to assist with the Development, Commercialization & Monetization of the Deep-Water Port & Special Economic Zone.

Special Economic Zone
Suriname, South America.

The Special Economic Zone will create a hub for the world’s top companies to establish a footprint in Suriname, accelerating and solidifying the growth of Suriname’s local private sector.

Developing an Industrial Logistics Park (ILP), in particular: A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will significantly stimulate Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Suriname, and will promote the development of Suriname and her people.

The SEZ will set out a specific set of policies which will incentivize FDI, and international companies to operate, transforming Suriname into a Hub-Port.

Real and durable wealth generation to the people of Suriname through properly planned, staged, and delivered development.

Many countries in the Asian region have introduced SEZs to develop their national economies by attracting FDI into the an SEZ. In a world of extremely fast paced development, it is easier, faster, and safer to the environment to provide relatively well-developed industrial infrastructures in these small special areas.

This allows for FDI to come into Suriname relatively quickly, and gives the Government of Suriname the needed capital and time to properly develop the rest of the nation to the best benefit of the people and for the future.

LNG Liquefaction and Export Facilities
Suriname, South America.

Firebird LNG plans to build initial facilities designed to fully integrate liquid hydrogen production, storage and loading alongside LNG produced at the plant, enabling Suriname to lead the energy transition in South America and CARICOM.

FirebirdLNG will convert harmful offshore flare gas to clean LNG. Fast tracking permits a projected first delivery in 4th quarter 2024, with 4,000,000 Tons/Annum, expanding to 8,000,000 Tons/Annum within 12 months of start-up.

Firebird is leading the effort to relieve the current European energy crisis.

Open - Access Pipeline
Suriname, South America.

With an open-access pipeline of at least 30 in., positioned centrally in the Suriname-Guyana Basin so all operators can be connected, Firebird LNG will allow expedited service of
all Atlantic Markets with zero choke-points or bottlenecks.

We stop the harmful flaring of natural gas off the coast of
The Amazon, and turn it into clean energy to fuel the future.
