Havenbeheer Suriname Visits Port of Houston to Discuss Strategic Collaboration

The Chief Executive Officer of Havenbeheer Suriname (Suriname' Port Management Company) recently conducted an official working visit to the Port of Houston, where he was welcomed by the Chief Operating Officer of one of the United States' most critical gateways for international trade and a major hub in the global oil and gas industry.

The visit included a guided tour of the port’s extensive facilities, highlighting its advanced logistics infrastructure and operations in energy transport and handling. The leadership teams from both ports held constructive discussions focused on identifying potential areas of cooperation and shared interests in maritime development, logistics innovation, and energy sector support.
